Marketing course will help 'develop new revenue streams': PIAA

Printers are being urged to attend a marketing course so they can "improve their client relationships and also develop new revenue streams".

The Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA) is running a one-day event in Sydney on 26 June that will explain how to use social media and marketing strategies to attract more business.

The Marketing Services Essentials for Printers course has been developed by the PIAA in conjunction with the Australian Direct Marketing Association.

The PIAA's national manager for commercial services, Ian Walz, said all companies needed to learn how to "value-add to their existing product mixes".

"Having the right mix of value-add services will help printing companies to improve their client relationships and also develop new revenue streams by providing a range of communication-based services," he said.
