Blue Print Imaging to sell EFI Vutek and Rastek machines

Blue Print Imaging hopes to become "the pre-eminent wide-format supplier in New Zealand" after taking on the agency for EFI.

The reseller will now distribute Vutek and Rastek inkjet machines as well as UV and solvent inks.

Blue Print Imaging already has a track record of supplying consumables and wide-format hardware, which put the company in good stead, according to Simon Trytell, EFI's sales development manager for inkjet solutions.

"With offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, they are well-positioned to serve the sign, display and graphic arts markets," said Trytell.

Blue Print director Rick Day said: "The new inkjet distribution agreement with EFI is a key part of our strategy to become the pre-eminent supplier to the wide-format and grand-format market.

"This expansion of our product and service line is a timely step forward in our commitment to bring quality alternatives to the market and to deliver a comprehensive range of equipment, service, ink and media to our customers," he added.
