The company, part of Opus Print Group, has assessed its energy consumption and emissions and taken steps to reduce them under the scheme.
In June, the company installed a new Fujifilm platesetter, which the company estimates will save up to 340,000 litres of water per year.
Other energy-saving measures includes not turning all equipment on at the same time to avoid power surges and instead turning on kit gradually.
In March 2009, the company decided it wanted to focus on the environmental impact of the business and assessed the different schemes it could sign up to.
"At that stage we were looking for the best vehicle. We could have got ISO 14001, but we wanted to go for something more internally focussed," said Opus Print Group chief executive Cliff Brigstocke (pictured).
"From there it's a matter of each of our departments working together looking at ways to reduce our footprint," he added.
