Snap Printing has been announced joint winner of the Insync Advocacy Award after employees relayed their satisfaction with the company in an online survey.

As well as being named joint winner alongside property developer Northerly Group, Snap was named runner-up in the best employer category for companies with 25-30 staff in the WA region.

Snap employees were asked to fill out an anonymous online survey and critique their employer to establish the winners of the awards.

Snap chief executive Grant Vernon (third from right) was particularly pleased with the Advocacy Award, which highlights company shows employees actively promote their company to friends and family and outsiders to the company.

"I think that's a fantastic thing for people to say about the company," he said. "We were particularly delighted that we won."

Snap has more than 150 owner-operated centres in Australia and a growing presence in China, New Zealand and Ireland.

In order to maintain management standards across such a large franchise, the company has established Snap Academies for managers.

The Snap Academy also runs fun in the workplace courses which help give managers the tools to maintain the Snap culture.

"We really encourage that culture," adds Vernon.

All of the companies that enter the awards receive a one-page report summarising the results of their online survey to use as a learning tool going forward.

The awards were announced at a gala luncheon held in Perth at the start of this month.
