The distributor will initially focus on Heytex's 'Sign' frontlit and backlit products in widths of up to five metres, as well as handling Heytex's 'Sign Mesh' offering. Starleaton said it would add more Heytex products to its portfolio "as demand increases".
Starleaton general manager Ben Eaton (pictured) said: "From both a quality and price point of view, Heytex media offers excellent value and is manufactured to typically exacting German standards.
"The opening of Heytex's Chinese factory in 2006 has added to the value propositions. As always, we will carry local stock of what we offer in order to respond to short-notice customer needs," he added.
The deal builds on "a working relationship" between Starleaton and Arnoud Mekenkamp, Heytex's product division manager for the Pacific Region.
Mekenkamp said: "I have known them for many years in my previous roles with Neschen and Seal and have always found Starleaton a pleasure to do business with."
