At this week's CEO Forum, NSW deputy premier Carmel Tebutt said the government is under pressure to reduce back-office spending rather than "propping up the paper industry". So we ask, what would be the best way the government could support the print industry?

Last week we asked: "Are you looking to invest in digital printing kit this year?"

The results were:

No: 46.8%
Yes, for general commercial work: 40.4%
Yes, for wide-format print: 6.4%
Yes, to get into niche/specialist applications: 6.4%
