PMP has announced the appointment of Phillip Elbourne as chief financial officer (CFO) and Alistair Clarkson as company secretary, as well as a board reshuffle following the shift of Peter George to head of PMP Print.

Both executive appointments have been made from within, with Elbourne being promoted from general manager of Group Finance at the company, whilst Clarkson previously served as company secretary of the Group's subsidiary companies.

"Both executives have a detailed understanding of the business and strong capabilities," said recently-appointed CEO Richard Allely (pictured). "I look forward to working with them in these new roles."

Meanwhile, the company also announced a "board restructure" which has included the formal appointment of Alley as managing director.

Non-executive director Peter George's move to head of PMP Print has prompted Ian Fraser to take over as chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, which has also gained a new member in Marcia Griffin. George will retain a position on the board as an executive director.

"George is an invaluable Board member, with strong change management experience," said PMP chairman Graham Reaney. "His continued contribution at a Board level will be important as PMP goes through the restructuring necessary to deliver sustainable profitability in these difficult market conditions."

The company is in the midst of a cost-cutting spree, with 67 jobs being cut earlier this month at its Clayton print site.
