You and your female colleagues are invited to the 2012 Heidelberg Women in Print events. Established in Australia in 2007, Heidelberg Women in Print was created to celebrate women in a typically male dominated industry. Women in Print is, just as the name suggests a collaboration of women in the print media industry. These popular networking events provide you with the opportunity to meet with peers and colleagues while enjoying great food and drink. Our inspirational speaker for 2012 is a successful woman in her own right and will be sure to make the evening one to remember.
We are excited to announce Judith Fordham as the Women in Print 2012 Keynote Speaker. Judith has a long list of commendable titles, which include: Leading W.A. criminal barrister; Associate Professor, Centre for Forensic Science, University of Western Australia; Past President of Criminal Lawyers Association of WA; Past President Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law; Past President of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society, member of the Law Council of Australia, Member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, author, and internationally recognised jury researcher.
She has worn zebra-print shoes into a courtroom, represented transsexuals, bikers, murderers and rapists, and raised four children on her own. Life, Law and Not Enough Shoes is her story, from her early life struggling on welfare to becoming a barrister and Associate Professor of Forensic Science. The publication of Life, Law and Not Enough Shoes’ marks the culmination of 20 years of crazy experiences in the practice of criminal law.
